DESCRIPTION OF WORK

You will provide skilled work in the operation of specialized equipment and/or vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more. In addition, you will perform equipment maintenance and other manual work related to the operation and maintenance of the Presque Isle and Erie Bluffs State Park complex.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Seasonal, full-time employment 37.5 hours per week
• 7 day/week operation. Employee will work 5 of 7 days per week
• Weekend, holidays, and evenings will be required.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A; or
• Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more: or
• Any equivalent combination of experience or training.

• This position requires possession of a valid driver's license.

• This position requires possession of a Commercial driver's license (CDL) with air brakes restriction lifted.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
