Processes consumer loan payments according to established guidelines and procedures. Being a Payment Processor typically reports to a supervisor. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Payment Processor may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     The Payment Poster is responsible for posting insurance and patient payments to the practice management system. The ideal candidate will have basic medical insurance knowledge.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Post insurance payments and Identify any payments not being paid at the allowed/contracted rate. 
    • Post patient payments to patient accounts. 
    • Ensure payment batches are reconciled and posted in a timely and accurate manner. 
    • Answer incoming patient calls and assist patients with account inquiries. 
    • Other miscellaneous tasks delegated by the Billing Supervisor
    Schedule:
    • Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

    Location: Ridgefield

    Requirements
    • Proficiency in the use of Electronic Health Records and Practice Management Experience

    Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
