Payment Recovery Specialist is responsible for analysis of denied reimbursement claims. Ensures appropriate insurance coverage for compliance standards and revenue generation. Being a Payment Recovery Specialist monitors, evaluates, and reviews all cost reporting in support of claims. Coordinates with departments and insurance companies to correct errors as necessary. Additionally, Payment Recovery Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Payment Recovery Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. MDFR is an evidence supported program that the Specialist will be trained, coached, and certified in. MDFR aims to foster stronger functioning and relationships within the family. Specialists will help caregivers create recovery goals for themselves as well as goals for their children, intimate relationships, family relationships, parenting and co-parenting, and connection to the community. Services may be delivered in the home, community, and/or DCF office.   This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus! Half upon start and half after a year in the position. Bilingual stipend $2,288 yearly Hourly Rate $22.00 Additional location stipend of $4,160   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field is required. Must have experience working in the substance use treatment field. Candidate must be able to speak fluently in both English and Spanish. Valid Drivers License is required. Drug testing for parents/caregivers who are in substance use treatment will be coordinated between providers to avoid duplication. Results are used to engage and sustain the parent/caregiver in their Recovery Support Plan.   Documentation of clinical activities in client record as required by Wheeler Clinic.   Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
