Payment Recovery Specialist jobs in Saint Paul, MN

Our family-owned SUD treatment program is growing and we're seeking Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) candidates passionate about working with people seeking recovery. We offer a casual, supportive, team-oriented work environment with competitive salaries.

Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, also referred to as recovery coaches, support clients by providing peer-to-peer support and encouragement, work with clients in goal setting and working to achieve those goals, provide transportation, assist clients with case management needs, and engage in recovery community activities.

We are looking for full-time employee for the evening shift. The hours would be Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM until 2 AM. We are willing to discuss your scheduling needs.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Driving to and from the recovery residences during the evening shift and checking on the residents.
• Assist with client engagement in community and recovery activities.
• Assist client with case management needs and provides resources.
• Provide peer-to-peer support and facilitate individual sessions to support clients’ recovery.
• Assist clients with identifying, developing, and working towards recovery goals.
• Provides transportation for clients as needed.
• Utilize the agency EHR system as appropriate to role.
• Promotes a positive and productive work & recovery environment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist via MCB
• Must be able to pass a Minnesota DHS background study
• At least 1 year experience working with individuals experiencing substance abuse problems
• Excellent computer skills including experience with using electronic health records
• Valid state driver’s license with a positive driving record
• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed
• One year free of any problems associated with substance use.

This job is for the schedule of Monday through Friday, 5:30 PM - 2 AM, with on call availability as desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
