Responsibilities :

• Process payroll accurately and timely for employees using payroll software / system.
• Verify and reconcile timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax payments and filings in a timely manner.
• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
• Assist with the preparation of payroll reports, including earnings summaries, tax reports, and labor distribution.
• Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software / systems (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
