Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Additionally, Payroll Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Payroll Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. ChurchShield is looking to add a Payroll Specialist to their Payroll Department. This is a customer facing role, that does not require prior payroll experience, but that certainly would be a plus.
This role is to be part time with somewhat flexible hours. Number of hours would be between 15-25, depending on the selected candidate.
Our Payroll Specialists are responsible to ensure collection of payroll data, accurately process payroll and provide support to our clients.
