Job Description:
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to ensure our staff is maintaining compliance with our contracted insurances. You will be required to assist the payroll director and insuring hours are calculated correctly and staff are in compliance to be eligible for payment. You'll also be checking for irregularities in progress notes to maintain compliance with our contractual obligations.
Responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing progress notes and timesheets to ensure staff is filling them out accurately.
- Assisting payroll director in off weeks, filing documents, updating files, etc.
- The payroll specialists job duties may include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
- Contact staff to correct any mistakes on progress notes and timesheets.
