Duties

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure compliance with laws
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies that align with company goals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements by providing accurate data and analysis.
• Utilize financial software to streamline tax processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members within the tax department.

Requirements

• degree in Accounting but not necessarily required or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred Or Tax Specialists or 2 years or more tax experience
• Proven experience in Income tax accounting, financial accounting, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of tax law regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in financial software applications for reporting and preparation of a tax return
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial acumen and technical accounting and tax preparers principles.
• Ability to interpret complex financial reports and communicate findings effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
