Mayville State University Child Development Programs is hiring one (1) Program Advocate responsible for assisting with all program component areas including enrollment, health, family services, education, and disabilities. The advocate must have great communication skills and be able to work with families. Duties include but are not limited to: working with children/families to accomplish family goals and fulfill family needs, ensuring program screens and assessments are complete, completing family orientations, and assisting staff with professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Child Development Associate (CDA)
- Experience working with children birth to age 5 and their families
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willing to become First Aid/CPR certified
Preferred Qualifications:
- AA, BA, or BS ECE or related degree
- Experience with Head Start/Early Head Start regulations
- Experience working cooperatively with supporting agencies
