Seeking compassionate individuals to tutor homeschooled children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Our company works in home, in office and in schools providing behavior therapy to children and adults who struggle to express themselves in a safe way due to their developmental delays. At this time, we have a number of clients being homeschooled. These teenagers are in therapy full-time for ABA to assist their behavior needs. However, the parents and team need a certified educator on the team to assist with tutoring in areas the family needs additional support. The position we are seeking to fill is best met by a certified special education teacher.

Job Responsibilities

• Tutoring children ages 4-19 in a variety of target subjects
• Follow a behavior plan with fidelity under the guidance of a certified behavior analyst (BCBA)
• Participate in team trainings
• Communicate with accuracy and kindness
• Develop theme educational materials to enhance the therapeutic experience.
• Develop materials for goals across all clients
• Obtain and maintain certification and training related to the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential as outlined by the state of Tennessee and the BACB certification board. This is because insurance has agreed to reimburse for targeting some group education and individual education goals in the case of a few of our clients.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of supplies.
• Transport self to appointments within the community and home environments in a timely manner
