    Job Overview: The purpose of this position is to contribute to overall membership sales and retention. This position oversees the maintenance department and staff, ensuring the safe operation of the facility, cleanliness and maintenance of all facilities and equipment, working operation of HVAC and pools, and adequate inventory of supplies. This position coordinates efforts with other departments to develop and provide service enhancements to members and guests.

    Job Requirements:

    Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectations of this job:

    • Mechanical, electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing and athletic equipment experience.
    • Experience in grounds maintenance.
    • Working knowledge of spas, pool, and sauna.
    • Knowledge of the use of equipment and tools.
    • Experience in mechanical repair work and carpentry work.
    • Knowledge of work hazards and applicable safety precautions.
    • Experience with janitorial cleaning products and pool chemicals.
    • 3 years club or recreational facility experience in an upper management capacity.
    • 3 years indirect or 2 years of direct leadership experience.
    • Experience in departmental budgeting and cost control.
    • Special Boiler's License preferred. 
    • Certified Pool Operator or AFO.
    • CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to complete training in first 90 days.
