As a member of the cardiovascular surgical team, the Perfusionist helps maintain blood flow to the body's tissues as well as regulate levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood....

    SpecialtyCare, the leading provider of perfusionist services in the U.S., is looking to expand our team in beautiful Akron, OH! We are seeking an Experienced or New Grad Perfusionist to join our newly reconstructed team of 5 total perfusionist who support 3 surgeons covering three hospitals. The adult-only caseload includes 450-500 open heart, tavis and ep cases per year and around 70 HIPEC cases at Cleveland clinic per year plus limited ATS and ECMO coverage.  Each perfusionist pumps approximately 80-100 cases per year.  Great team who work very well together and provide support while maintaining an excellent work/life balance!

    Position Requirements

    • Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program.
    • Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.   
    •  Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
