Job Title: Loan Processor/Servicer

Summary: Responsible for all aspects of loan processing and servicing. Exercises judgement in review of loan files and insures accurate documentation and timely service. Knowledgeable in all loan documentation and disclosures and regulatory concerns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
Review and set up loan files for consumer and mortgage loans.
Manage mortgage pipeline including ordering of appraisals and title searches, and scheduling of loan closings, requiring communication with multiple vendors.
Maintain various loan pipeline and production reports, requiring fluency with data entry systems including Microsoft Excel.
Data entry of originated loans into core processing system. Able to determine relevant data from loan documentation to accurately input information.
Oversees draws for construction and renovation loans.
Reviews files for proper documentation to ensure adherence to all regulations and bank policies.
Maintain rate indexes in core processing system.
Balance general ledger accounts monthly.
Oversee annual escrow analysis and oversee payment of tax and insurance bills for clients with escrow accounts.
Oversee disbursement of monthly invoices for PMI, mortgage life and disability insurance.
Perform loan maintenance activities on a wide variety of loan products.
Manage participation and purchased loan portfolio including posting of payments and reconciling balances and accrued interest.
Prepare documents including notes, mortgages, loan estimates and closing disclosures for consumer and real estate loans.
Answer phone calls and resolve customer questions or concerns regarding loan accounts and payments.

EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
