Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting buildings and premises for signs of pests, applying pesticides, and advising clients on pest control measures.
Duties:
- Conduct inspections of infested areas to identify pests, their habitats, and breeding grounds
- Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
- Apply pesticides in and around buildings according to safety regulations
- Advise clients on how to prevent future pest infestations
- Maintain accurate service records and prepare reports
- Drive company vehicles to client locations
Qualifications:
- Experience in pest control or related field preferred
- Knowledge of pest behavior, habitats, and treatment methods
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus
- Strong sales skills for upselling services
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Background in lawn care or landscaping is advantageous
