Pharmacist - Home Care jobs in Corona, CA
Pharmacist - Home Care compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and pharmaceutical supplies per physician's instructions for patients in a home care setting. Provides consultation and answers inquires from patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding drugs and their use. Being a Pharmacist - Home Care maintains all required documentation and data on prescriptions, inventory, and patients. Adheres to JCAHO standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist - Home Care requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Pharmacist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Part Time hours include: 8 A.M-12 P.M and 9 A.M-12 P.M
Scheduled Days are Monday-Friday.
Hourly Rate is $17/hr

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Provide the personal care and support seniors/pediatrics/veterans/disabled need to live safely at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
- Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
- Provide medication reminders, document their condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Caregivers:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California.
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
- CPR certification
- Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
- Current TB screening.
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator, and ability to lift to 50 lbs.
