Pharmacist compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs per physician's instructions in a hospital or healthcare facility setting. Consults with medical staff about potential drug interactions, patient medical history, and the use of particular medications. Being a Pharmacist responds to questions from patients about medications and dosage instructions. Ensures that all required pharmacy data is recorded and maintained and complies with all regulatory, security and hospital procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist may supervise pharmacy technicians. Requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Pharmacist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Job Description

    About the role:

    At KabaFusion, we put an emphasis on patient care and positive clinical outcomes and, as a pharmacist with us, you are the front line. Whether that is working with providers, calling the patients themselves, or doing clinical review, you are an integral cog in the continuum of care the patient receives.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates ethical pharmacy practice and ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, state and federal pharmacy rules and regulations, professional practice standards, and accrediting entities.
    • Assesses laboratory results and performs pharmacokinetic dosing.
    • Performs accurate prescription order entry to ensure medications are properly concentrated, without incompatibilities, stable and properly stored.

    Qualifications

    As a Pharmacist, you bring:

    • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy or a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy desirable) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
    • Current license as a registered pharmacist in state of employment.
    • 1-2 years of recent experience and strong knowledge base in intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy.

    Additional Information

    Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 / year
