Pharmacy Director directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for a hospital or healthcare facility's pharmacy services. Maintains contact with other department heads, medical staff, and nursing staff to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes, and promote effective drug therapy. Being a Pharmacy Director requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Typically requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Additionally, Pharmacy Director typically reports to a top management. The Pharmacy Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Pharmacy Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     As a new Pharmacy Technician, you are required to complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program as well as satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to your State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Your Pharmacy Technician duties will be restricted by your manager at first until you complete all necessary requirements. Once you satisfy all requirements and expand your Pharmacy Technician duties, you have the opportunity to continue to build your clinical, technical and insurance knowledge and expertise by leveraging available tools and training to build your pharmacy career.

    We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customer service, filling prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and process prescription orders.
    • Maintain patient records and medication profiles.
    • Verify accuracy of prescription information and dosage instructions.
    • Package and label medications for distribution.
    • Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
    • Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions for patients.
    • Provide customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
