Position Summary
CMA is searching for an individual to join their technology team with a collaborative approach to providing proactive and excellent service for the end users.
This position is responsible for:
- installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise software applications and underlying infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of systems administration, application management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- assisting with design, implementation, and management of CMA’s on-premises network and security infrastructures to ensure the highest levels of data protection and system integrity.
- management of CMA’s Microsoft 365 infrastructure ensuring the highest level of end users data protection, compliance, and system integrity.
- Contributing ideas and proposed solutions to Senior Director, IT to foster productivity of CMA’s staff and ensure the seamless operation of technical infrastructure.
- assisting with day-to-day information technology support for staff and other users to ensure proactive and excellent service for end users.
This position is based in Nashville, TN and requires a minimum of 3 days of in-person work each week.

Essential Functions
- Manage and support on-premises and cloud enterprise environments
- Manage, administer, and provide support for CMA’s communication technology (VOIP phones, Cellular, SIP trunk)
- Administer corporate email (inbound filtering, inbound/outbound delivery)
- Assist with day-to-day support for staff and all end users to ensure proactive and excellent service for end users
- Assist with IT budget development and management with direction and input of Senior Director
- Purchase hardware and software that meets the criteria defined by the Senior Director. Manage configuration, transition to user, and end user support. Maintain assets inventory, manage replacement cycle, and coordinate disposal. Recycle retired equipment.
- Manage ongoing updates to hardware and software to ensure end users have the most up to date versions
- Collaborate with CMA staff to identify needs gaps, perform research for solutions and make recommendations to Senior Director. Assist with implementation of solutions.
- Engage in cross-departmental project planning providing technical expertise as assigned
- Assist in cyber security processes implementation and monitoring cyber security compliance
- Assist with implementation, and enforcement of corporate information technology policy standards and best practices
- Assist with CMA events technology execution including CMA Board and Committee meetings as outlined by Senior Director. Provide onsite event support to CMA staff and all end users.
- Develop and manage execution of enterprise applications training and support
- Become knowledgeable about CMA’s plan for business continuity and assist with tests of disaster recovery processes
- Manage technology vendor relationships as assigned
- Review and process invoices for payment and update tracking document
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Information Technology
- Proficient and knowledgeable in current and best technology solutions including hardware, software, and other infrastructure
- Strong knowledge in networking infrastructure design, implementation and management
- Proficient in the Microsoft 365 environment with administration in Idenity, Security, Compliance, Exchange, Endpoint Manager, SharePoint and Teams
- Experience in managing and executing Information Technology services in a corporate environment
- Experience in managing a VMware Cluster and vSAN preferred
- Experience in managing firewall and security appliances. Knowledge in SonicWALL devices preferred
- Experience working within a technology team preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to identify and present technical information to non-technical audiences
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively understand and respond to the needs of users and the business
- Project management skills with strong problem solving/decision making abilities
- Ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment
- Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
- High level of integrity and discretion; able to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy
