Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Quality First is a fast-growing Long Term Care Pharmacy, looking for a pharmacy technician to be a part of an amazing team. This position entails providing support for our pharmacists along with helping distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. We provide training to appropriate applicants that do not have experience. The pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy and is not open to the general public. We are looking to hire multiple applicants to work either a rotating 7 on - 7 off shift. Noon - 10:00pm M-F and 10:00am - 10:00pm Sat, Sun followed by 7 days off. Or work 1:00pm to 10:00pm M-F.
