Pharmacy Technician Supervisor oversees the work of a team of Pharmacy Technicians that assist Pharmacists with the dispensing of medical prescriptions. Monitors daily activities and manages work schedules to ensure that quality, production and customer service standards are maintained. Being a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor may hire, train, and evaluate new employees. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Willowbrook Pharmacy is a rapidly growing specialty pharmacy seeking an experienced, organized and detailed-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team.
Business Hours: Monday – Friday 8AM – 6PM and closed Saturday and Sunday
Schedule – Day shift – No Weekends! – 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
-*_Primary Main Duty_*: Making outbound calls and answering inbound calls from our valued customers
· Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer
· Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload
· Effective communication skills and agent of change
· Maintaining a clean, and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance
· Maintaining confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Required license – Pharmacy Technician
· Preferred - National Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or EXCPT)
· Familiarity with pharmacy law and medical terminology
· 1 year customer service (Required)
