What is PTA: Someone who completed at least 5 semesters in an accredited physical therapy assistant program. Someone who is licensed or is eligible to obtain FL State licensure as a physical therapy assistant. Experience in a medical facility does not make one a PTA. Looking for a responsible PTA with excellent manual skills, who wants to join a a growing outpatient practice in North Miami Florida(established in 2021). Practice utilizes an integrated approach combining Physical Therapy, Massage, Chiropractic, and Acupuncture Services. Each patient gets 15 minutes of therapeutic massage so massage skills are needed. This is a part time position. We prefer a PTA with a PT degree, but it is not essential. Benefits such as vacation/personal days/401k are negotiable.
