JOB DESCRIPTION:

Non-invasive Cardiologist needed

We are seeking providers that will cover daily rounds, night call and weekend call with rounds.  The providers will need to request privileges for performing TEE’s, reading Nuclear Stress Test and Echo’s.  Case logs will be required. Our practice is experiencing a severe time crunch as we need immediate coverage starting 7-31-23.  We will need to have the process of approvals expedited. The candidate will need to be ready and be responsive to the requests for documentation. 

Coverage Type:

·         Hospital Day 7am-5pm /Night 5pm-7am

·         If Call inhouse or beeper? Cell phone/ Secure chat in Epic

·         Call Night /Weekend - both

·         What is the Number of phone Consults - 1-2 daily advice only

·         What are the days for Call - Sunday through Saturday

·         What Time does the Call start - Night call 5pm

·         What Time does Call end - Night call 7am

·         Age of patients - 18 years old

·         Schedule you need filled - Night Call Week 1:6, Weekend Call 1:6, Biweekly Rounding

·         Any Additional information you feel may be useful to the recruiters - Must read echocardiagrams, stress tests, vascular studies and perform TEE's

·         Support staff (How many and what) RN? MA? PA/NP? Office Staff? Hospitalists, Hospital Staff/ 6 Cardiology Providers

·         Need a provider with EPIC experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES:

·         ACLS

·         ATLS

·         Board Certificate

·         BLS
