Physician - Dermatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the human skin. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Dermatology performs a variety of laboratory procedures, examines sample tissues, and uses various biological and chemical analyses to identify harmful organisms or pathological conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Dermatology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Dermatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. - Optimizes patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Scanning patient information into the EMR system.
- Gather necessary demographic and insurance information from the patient to create and/or update the patient's medical record.
- Interact with patients and staff in a manner that reflects favorably on our clinic and promotes teamwork.
Skills and Qualifications:- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Great customer service.
- Time management.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of basic computer software, and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
