Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Family Medicine Physician supporting Virtual Medical Center located at Joint Base San Antonio, TX.

                                                                 VIPRR located at Virtual Medical Center (VMC), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), San Antonio, TX. 

This contract position offers:

• Monday - Friday - May work remote 
• Duty Hours: 
•  0500 - 1400 (5:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• 0800 - 1700 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 1200 – 2100 (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

• No On-call

Duties:

• Serve as the VIPRR Clinic Medical Director and provide clinical oversight of assigned Physician Extenders (PA/NP).
• Assist the VMC FO Director/Medical Director in reviewing VMC FO Centralized Virtual Health Privileging applications as required.
• Serve as the second signature authority on profiles generated by the VIPRR Clinic as required.
• Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF.
• Direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Family Medicine
• Any State license 
• DEA License
• 1 year of recent experience
