Physician - Internal Medicine examines adult patients to ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests, and follow-up visits, and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Being a Physician - Internal Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Internal Medicine may report to a medical director. Physician Qualifications:
MD/DO from approved medical/osteopathy school and graduation from accredited residency program in family practice
Must be board-certified within 24 months of commencing employment and hold license or be eligible for license in State of CT
Bi-lingual skills English/Spanish preferred
