Physician - Occupational Medicine oversees the patient's diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and/or injury. Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury or may act as a consultant to identify workplace health hazards. Being a Physician - Occupational Medicine examines patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Additionally, Physician - Occupational Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. About us
Winooski Integrative Medicine PC was founded in 2023 by Dr Sam Russo ND,LAc, RMSK, who has been practicing in the greater Burlington area since 2004. Prior to starting WIM, Dr Russo established Vermont Naturopathic Clinic, then worked at Winooski Family Health and the Community Health Centers of Burlington. He has been practicing family medicine since 2002 after a residency with Mary Bove ND. He has been practicing naturopathic orthopedic medicine since 2006 and worked in association with regenerative medicine specialist Jonathan Fenton DO for 7 years. He was the first to receive the RMSK credential in VT.
Our goal is to provide comprehensive medical care in a setting that is nurturing to body, mind and soul for patients as well as staff. We commit to respect the individuality of our clients while maintaining the standards of good healthcare. We hope to educate our clients in order empower them in their self-care. In this way we hope to strengthen the health of our community. To further our progress in meeting this goal we are in the process of obtaining NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home certification.

Part or Full-time, 14 to 24.5 clinical hours per week (2 to 3.5 clinical days per week)
Estimated based salary $50,000 to $90,000 per year with bonus pay based on productivity
