Full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Physician with Surgical Obstetrics opportunity available in our La Junta Clinic in La Junta, Colorado. The purpose of this position is to provide high quality medical care within the scope of family medicine which encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity. Responsible for the provision of comprehensive primary and preventive care, including OB and inpatient care responsibilities. Provide oversight/supervision for midlevel providers at each site in coordination with the Regional Medical Director and CMO. Acquires and maintains Nursing Home privileges for Continuity of Care for Community Health Center Patients in service area. Expands and maintains rapport with appropriate health agencies, local governments, and community organizations, assist with outside public relations functions upon request. Practice provides full spectrum out-patient clinic services for our patients as well as in-patient hospital, full scope OB services providing call coverage 1:4 nights per week.
