We are currently in search of a Recruiter supporting our processing facility in Pelion, SC.
The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for our production department.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
- Full cycle recruiting - review resumes and applications to match qualifications with job requirements, conduct initial screening interviews, assessing candidate suitability and cultural fit, coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, maintain regular communication with candidates to keep them engaged throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct pre-employment tours of the production facilities.
- Extend job offers and negotiate employment terms, as necessary.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS.
- Utilize various sourcing channels, including online job boards, social media, career fairs, networking events, and referrals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and industry professionals.
- Stay updated on best practices and innovative recruiting trends and practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and networking events.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of candidate selection methods and techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with employment legislation and regulations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in an office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers/scanners.
- Environment when conducting facility tours: wet concrete floor, high noise level, cold environment (36-40 degrees).
