Physician - Rheumatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and immune system. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Rheumatology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Rheumatology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Rheumatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     JOB DESCPITON:

    Coverage Type:

    Only candidates submitted with case logs within last 2 years will be considered.

    General Neurosurgery, Endovascular is not required

    We do not treat neonates

    On-call coverage 10 - 12 days per month starting as soon as credentialed

    Call 7A to 7A

    Dates needing on-call coverage:

    October 1-2 and 19-22 and 25-26 and 30-31

    November 13-16 and 21-26

    December 13-14 and 19, and 22-27 and 30-31

    Rounding: Assigned & Unassigned - consults & admits already on service

    Inpatient

     

    CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

    ·         ALCS

    ·         Board Certificate

    ·         BLS

    REQUIRED STATE LICENSE REQUIRED:

    ·         Arkansas
