Physician - Sports Medicine examines and treats sport or athletic related injuries. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Sports Medicine monitors patient during sport events or physical activity and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment, as necessary. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Sports Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Sports Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. * OB is not required
* Reason for search: Growth, supply and demand ratios
* Medical Group is a 34 member group with 29 physicians and 5 mid-level providers
* There are 8 Family Medicine physicians in the group
* Current call expectation is 1:6. (practice - telephone)
* Exclusive Hospitalist coverage available for ER / inpatients!
**There are 4 office locations:**
* Bluffton - on campus of hospital - this is the main office where most of the group
members are housed
* Markell - 15 miles out (3 providers - 1 FP and 2 mid-levels)
* Warren - 15 miles out (1 provider - 1 mid-level)
* Ossian - 8 miles out (2 providers - 2 FPs)a
