OVERVIEW:
Devault Refrigeration, Inc., is a leading industrial and commercial refrigeration contractor located in Pennsylvania that serves the Mid-Atlantic region since 1983. Devault is seeking a dedicated and reliable Copper Pipefitter/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in brazing and be able to work with copper materials. The Copper Pipefitter/Installer will be responsible for brazing copper parts and components, reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and ensuring that all finished products meet the required specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Highschool Diploma/GED or equivalent, required
· Trade school education or apprenticeship, preferred
· Industrial/commercial refrigeration training, preferred
· Working knowledge of equipment and tools needed for the job
· Ability to work independently
· Focused on safety and quality
· Comfortable working at elevation and ability to climb ladders
· Manage time effectively and efficiently
· Valid Driver’s license and insurable driving record, required
· Ability to pass ASME Section IX Brazing Certification
· Strong attention to detail and communication skills
· OSHA 30/10 and Lift certification, preferred
· Must pass substance screenings and background screenings
· Must abide by employee manual and all safety policies
SCHEDULE HOURS:
· 40 hours per week – working times vary between 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
· On-call availability for off-hour work; emergencies, shutdowns, and/or maintenance
· Opportunity for over-time
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Braze/solder copper parts and components using ASME brazing techniques
· Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings
· Ensure that all finished products meet the required specifications
· Monitor and maintain truck inventory, trade equipment, and tools
· Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on trade equipment
· Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed on time
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment
· Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
· Ensure that all work is completed according to quality standards
· Continuously improve brazing/soldering techniques and processes
· Complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
· Perform other duties as assigned
