Job Overview
As a pipelayer, you should have good working knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and be physically fit to perform work. As a skilled pipe layer, you should be able to select, place, and seal pipes efficiently and quickly without impeding the progress of the construction crew.
Responsibilities and Duties
● Perform quality work, at a productive rate with minimal supervision
● Must be able to work outdoors, but may on occasion work indoors
● Responsible for assessing ground conditions
● Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, assembling pipes, and laying pipes in accordance with plans.
● Must be able to remove old piping systems, seal joints, and install auxiliary lines
● General construction labor, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials
● Follow company and safety policies
● Show up to job site on time and ready to work
● Must have reliable transportation & cell phone for daily communications
● Other duties as assigned
