Civil Design Advantage (CDA) is accepting applications for a Marketing Coordinator Intern position. CDA is looking for a creative, ambitious, resourceful, and highly organized professional to play a key role in creating and developing promotional marketing material, preparation of formal project proposals, assisting with social media initiatives, and assistance with and execution of various marketing presentations. The ideal candidate will collaborate and work closely with CDA’s executive team and project managers, as well as lead certain individual efforts of CDA’s overall marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Understand, further develop, and enhance marketing processes, systems and templates; identify and propose potential enhancements and support implementation.
• Ensure internal and external marketing material design and messaging reflect brand standards and marketing strategy.
• Support identification, planning and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives alongside business development, marketing and project team members.
• Collaborate with various personnel to draft formal proposals, qualification statements, and project narratives.
• Review requests for proposals (RFP) requirements and offer writing, design and research assistance; identify needed material, narratives, graphics and charts for technical and price proposals.
• Co-lead proposal development meetings to discuss status and challenges, review outstanding items and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Organize and maintain current project sheets, personnel resumes and headshots, and local project photography.
• Collaborate with executive team to maintain and enhance website.
• Serve as a brand standards champion by providing support to jobsite branding and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with CDA’s Social Media Manager and support CDA’s social media efforts. Write, edit, and post content for email, newsletters, web, social media, video, digital signage, and press releases.
• Assist with local public relations and communications activity (i.e. craft blog posts, press releases, media responses); obtain approval from business development and/or marketing management; build media relationships as appropriate.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other consulting firms that CDA may be teamed with in project pursuits.
• Coordinate and create interview and presentation materials for project pursuits.

Qualifications

• Working towards Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Education, or other relevant major.
• Strong technical writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with high level of attention to detail and ability multi-task.
• Self-motivated, enjoys learning new things, and demonstrates reliability and professionalism.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
