Planning Director directs and oversees the patient service planning function for a hospital or healthcare system. Performs analysis of trends in healthcare and makes recommendations for new services or changes in existing services. Being a Planning Director supports feasibility analysis and new program planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Planning Director typically reports to top management. The Planning Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Planning Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Accountability Objective
    The Executive Director manages the research and outcomes assessment activities of the College; The Executive Director focuses on the ongoing development and implementation of the college’s Strategic Plan. The Executive Director translates the strategic plan into concrete strategies, initiatives, and projects with measurable goals and objectives, and designs a project management structure to monitor, evaluate, and report to internal and external constituents.

    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.

    Experience working in strategic leadership, with leading teams in strategic planning and development.

    Understanding of data analysis.

    Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities

    Organizational and leadership skills.

    Demonstrated technical skills.
    Excellent communication skills.

    Desired Qualifications
    Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.

    Demonstrated experience in a collegiate environment with strategic planning.

    Demonstrated experience in a collegiate environment with institutional research.

    Demonstrated experience in project management.

    Demonstrated experience with student information systems, learning management systems, and customer relationship management systems.
