Plant Accountant provides accounting services for a plant. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Being a Plant Accountant complies and prepares analysis and reports of accounting activity and data. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reconciliations. Additionally, Plant Accountant typically requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or related field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are looking for candidates who are local to the area (within 45-60 minutes of drive) of DeWitt and have a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing management experience (ideally in Printing or Paper).
Summary:
The Plant Manager manages day-to-day operations at the DeWitt, IA manufacturing plant. The non-unionized facility employs approximately 175 employees over two shifts. The facility has an on-site Quality Supervisor, Planner, Engineer, and HR Manager whose supervisors are located at headquarters in Watertown, NY.
