Role and Responsibilities
The role of the Accountant includes assisting with payroll, accounting, and taxes:
•    Process Payrolls and Quarterly Reports
•    Working with accounting applications to deliver timely statements for clients
•    Assisting with tax preparation
•    Sharing in administrative duties amongst other staff

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or Accounting (can be working towards degree.) Preferred but not required.
• Quickbooks certified (Preferred but not required.)
• CPA or EA (or be willing to move toward it.)

Preferred Skills

• Great Communication Skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Empathy. Both with clients and coworkers.
• Basic Computer Skills
• Willingness to help the team in the office/be flexible.
• Financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting principles (preferred.)
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (preferred.) 
• Proficiency in using accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Knowledgeable in Adobe PDF.
• A desire to grow professional Expertise.
• Microsoft Office.
