Job Description:
As a Sales Representative, you will drive sales growth by prospecting, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with builders, contractors, architects, engineers, D2C sales, and other key stakeholders. Leveraging your industry expertise and strong interpersonal skills, you will identify opportunities, promote our products and services, and provide tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
· Prospect and qualify leads within the industry to expand the customer base and generate new business opportunities.
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, understand their needs, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
· Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, market developments, and competitor activities to effectively position our products and services in the marketplace.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align strategies and deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
· Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings.
· Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to maximize profitability while meeting their budgetary requirements.
· Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators, such as sales targets, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction scores, and take proactive measures to achieve and exceed targets.
· Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand, build relationships, and generate leads.
· Provide timely and accurate sales reports to executive leadership.
Preferred Experience:
· A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building material sales, preferably with a focus on new technologies.
· Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, processes, and industry standards.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
· Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales targets.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, sales software, and CRM tools.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
