Plant Accountant provides accounting services for a plant. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Being a Plant Accountant complies and prepares analysis and reports of accounting activity and data. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reconciliations. Additionally, Plant Accountant typically requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or related field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. 1.To be successful in the Accountant position, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and be able to perform the following responsibilities:
2. You will be responsible for providing accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we are compliant with all tax regulations.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or relevant degree. Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
2. Work experience as an Accountant, 3 years preferred.
3. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks. Experience with general ledger functions. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
5. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
