Job Summary: As the Plant Controller you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of our manufacturing operations. This position will provide key support to the plant manager and while reporting directly to the group controller. You will be responsible for overseeing cost accounting functions, analyzing production costs, and providing insights to optimize operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Cost Accounting: Implement and maintain cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
· Financial Analysis: Develop and monitor KPIs to analyze production costs, identify areas for cost savings, and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
· Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the manufacturing operations.
· Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
· Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with manufacturing and finance teams to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the manufacturing division.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing operations.

Education/Required Skills/Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
· 3 years of experience in cost accounting and financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, standard costing, and inventory management.
· Experience working with large ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
