Since 2014, IDS has been offered in 14 states and internationally in two countries to over 50,000 students.
Base salary range: $60,000 - 70,000 PLUS commissions up to $110,000

Responsibilities:
Identify potential partners, field questions about the product, and attend, advise, and present at informational webinars.
Sales Development:
Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) platforms to identify and target high school districts that can benefit from our data science curriculum/concepts software/code and its pedagogical practices so that the value proposition for high school students and educators can be clearly and persuasively communicated. Devise and execute strategic sales plans to meet and surpass sales objectives. Nurture a robust pipeline of potential clients through proactive outreach via phone, email, and networking events.
Develop an in-depth understanding of our data science software and its value proposition for high school students and educators. Effectively communicate product features and benefits, showcasing how they address the pain points commonly faced within education.
Customer Engagement:
Conduct engaging presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of our software to prospective clients. Promptly respond to inquiries, provide detailed product information, and address any concerns or objections raised by customers. Foster strong relationships with high school administrators, teachers, and decision-makers to drive adoption and satisfaction.
Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with marketing teams to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and campaigns that resonate with our target audience. Provide valuable insights and feedback from the field to inform product enhancements and refine sales strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in sales, preferably within the education technology or software sector. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software, with the ability to leverage its features for lead management and sales tracking. Deep understanding of data science concepts and their relevance to high school curriculum and student learning outcomes. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
