Administers corporate policies relating to compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs. Being a Plant Human Resources Manager may be responsible for negotiating collective bargaining agreements. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Plant Human Resources Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Plant Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
