Platemaker - Offset jobs in Dallas, TX

You must have a minimum of 5 years of sheetfed offset printing experience to be considered for this position. Salary is commensurate with experience and will be negotiated on an individual basis.

Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

• Understand and comply with plant and printing department rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Identify and assist with operating the feeder, inking system, color and ink adjustments, plates, and control panel.
• Possess Mechanical aptitude to make machine adjustments and repairs.
• Assist with make ready and cleanup of equipment and surrounding area.
• Ability to see Color Hue and recognize tone.
• Identify and resolve quality defects and causes including hickies, scumming, color variance, coating pattern, scratches, offset, and registration issues.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, including quality checks and production reports
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to interact with coworkers in a professional manner.
• Must be able to bend, reach, lift and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
