Being a Plumber complies with all required safety, building code and inspection requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and other instructions. Additionally, Plumber has completed required apprenticeship. Typically requires a high school diploma. Requires Journeyman Plumber status. Requires a State License for plumbing. Position Summary :
The Plumbing Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the plumbing service department. This includes supervising plumbing technicians, the call center manager, and the service inventory control manager, all while ensuring quality service, and
maintaining customer satisfaction. The role involves a combination of administrative, technical, fieldwork, and leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities :
Maintains current Master Plumbing license in accordance with governmental / state regulations.
Studies building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
discipline, scheduling, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings,
evaluating performance and directing work assignments to maximize production.
Provides coaching, feedback, and technical and communication training to all
subordinates to increase performance.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent with on-the-job and formal classroom training in plumbing work in construction, maintenance, commercial, and residential environments
Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and / or crawl.
Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following : hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas.
