POSITION SUMMARY

The Plumbing Manager will direct plumbing technicians and installers to efficiently and effectively meet project tasks, duties, and other requirements. The Plumbing Manager is accountable for all plumbing technician’s performance assessments, reviews, and improvement objectives for the company requirements.

OBJECTIVES

• Schedules, coordinates, and offers operational assistance for technicians to satisfy customer needs and standards
• Review technician’s work to ensure quality and meet the established standards, techniques, and safety requirements.
• Provide training programs to ensure that technicians are properly educated about the latest service techniques, equipment, general working conditions, and safety procedures
• Regularly communicates with the dispatch to ensure that technicians are appropriately scheduled according to the level of skill, efficiency, and training needs.
• Monitor and evaluate budgets, targets, and objectives to ensure company profitability.
• Specifies and ensures that the parts needed are ordered promptly to guarantee meeting deadlines
• Communications with vendors and suppliers on warranty problems, product recall reports, and product operating issues
• Collaborate on the company and departmental goals and objectives with other managers

• Ability to think critically, in the assessment of materials that will help team understand new concepts and procedures

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think individually as well as collaboratively when approaching personnel issues
• Ability to read, interpret, and create documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and written correspondence
• Proven ability to assist HR Manager with employee relations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related field required
• Minimum 8 years plumbing experience required
• Minimum 5 years progressive leadership experience required
• Must possess a current state driver’s license and clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

Experience:

• Plumbing: 10 years (Preferred)
• Leadership: 7 years (Preferred)

• Palm Desert, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
