Industrial Constructors/Manager's, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to join our team.
Summary: Plans, directs, and implements ICM’s quality management system in the field for ICM South to ensure quality standards are met. Works in conjunction with the PM’s, Supt., PE’s, GF’s, F’s, and Craftsmen. Oversees QAQC subcontractors for ICM South.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plans and implements quality policies and procedures in compliance with ICM’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees how to achieve quality work practices, and how to complete minimum quality documentation for every project.
Inspects and audits construction activities to ensure compliance with project documents and specifications.
Review and audit documentation to ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures, and implement appropriate corrective action as required.
Create Project Specific Quality Manuals for construction projects.
Create Project Specific Inspection and Test Plans.
Determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
Supervise and administer solutions for non-conformance activities to include but not limited to addressing work assignments, staffing, training, etc.
Provides information, project specs, codes, standards, and other materials to help identify potential problems.
Leads the investigation of all ICM South NCR’s, CAR’s, audits, and project spec adherence.
Ensure all NCR’s and CAR’s are reported same day of incident and reports all NCR’s and CAR’s to QA/QC Director and Executive Management.
Generate Quality Alerts.
Review documentation to ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures, and implement appropriate corrective action as required.
Ensures CTOP documentation is complete.
Accompany all third-party verification experts, outside Inspectors, and auditors on walk through tours.
Attend Monthly Executive Quality Meetings.
Attend Pre-Construction and weekly Production meetings to ensure adherence to ICM’s Quality
Management System, contract documents and specifications.
Leads ICM South Friday Meeting QA/QC session.
Perform additional assignments per Supervisor’s direction.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2 years of experience in welding (inspection or application).
2 years of experience in bolting (inspection or application).
2 years of experience in concrete (inspection or application).
2 years of experience in piping (inspection or application).
Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the project scope.
Must be organized with necessary paperwork.
Knowledge of ACI, AWS, and ASME codes a plus
Ability to read blueprints.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suites, Bluebeam, Acrobat.
Certificates and Licenses: ACI certifications, AWS certifications, ASME certification are a plus.
