Position Summary: Responsible for the oversight and management of the Cardiovascular Services Department; works with patients from adolescent to geriatric. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing and/or accredited school of radiology and/or accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in related field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
5 years experience in Cardiovascular Services.
2 years management experience in related field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
Possess a current Texas State License or AART, ACVT or RCIS
Responsibilities:
General Management:
Establishes goals and objectives that support overall strategic plans of the facility/Northeast Baptist Hospital
Develops and manages the annual department operating and capital budgets
Directs daily operations of assigned department/sMaintains objectivity in decision making, utilizing facts to support decisions
Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System Manages to eliminate boundaries to achieve integrated, efficient and quality service
Achieves ongoing compliance with all regulatory agencies Serves as a resource to employees and customers as demonstrated by visibility and knowledge of issues
