As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse by ensuring the timely and accurate handling of materials and products.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials and products, verifying accuracy against purchase orders or manifests.
• Inspect materials for defects, damages, or discrepancies and report any issues to management.
• Safely and efficiently unload, move, and store materials using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment according to customer orders or shipping requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team members.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks such as inventory management, labeling, and general housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
