    Description

    Principal Duty

    The Operations Manager will manage, lead, and support the TGW Onsite Maintenance, Field Service, and more teams. You will be responsible for, ensuring the delivery of services to the highest standard for TGW customers. Budget management, and reporting for both the customer and TGW will be required in detail to be reviewed on a monthly basis with detailed explanations on deviation from plan and counter measures to correct the deviations.

    The Operations Manager will also be expected to manage any escalations that occur, and be present in the escalation strategy for your responsible contracts.

    Good communication skills are required to ensure that a professional relationship with the customer is developed and maintained along with the management of your customer accounts, and meeting Field Service expectations.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of on-site managers across several sites.
    • Recruit, hire and train resources for jobsites based on contractual agreements.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party service providers who may be enlisted to supplement on-site teams.
    • Develop strategies for unplanned absences on job sites to ensure contract compliance and operational effectiveness.
    • Measure and improve performance KPIs to align with contractual agreements.
    • Ensure that monthly reports are generated and communicated to the customer.
    • Establish and maintain quality control procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in coordination with TGW safety manager and on-site teams.
    • Manage budgets of on-site teams and support the increase the number of residential sites for LTS.
    • Review and monitor escalation procedures and ensure that they are communicated appropriately.

    Requirements Profile

    • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferablyworking with on-site maintenance teamswithin the Material Handling and/or Automation Industry.
    • Proven experience in problem solving and conflict resolution.
    • Strong written and communication skills.
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to travel domestic & internationally approximately 50% of the time.
