As a key leadership team member, this role will be pivotal in achieving ambitious growth goals and exceeding customer expectations.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Manage the day-to-day rental operations and performance by enforcing processes, following expense control guidelines, and reviewing daily, monthly, and quarterly metrics. Ensure key performance indicators are met or exceeded.
    • Ensure the cost-effectiveness of all operations while maintaining high-quality standards using process improvement tools.
    • Manage fleet inventory and service metrics to ensure availability, including forecasting fleet needs, managing utilization, and growing profitability.
    • Establish relationships with customers and the sales team to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability, and communication.
    • Lead and engage employees to drive positive relationships and employee satisfaction.
    • Build and develop talent through performance management, training, delegation, and accountability.
    • Solve problems both strategically and tactically.
    • Maintain awareness of market conditions to improve our competitive position and territory market share.
    • Communicate with Account Managers regarding unit rentals, sales, and mechanical reliability.
    • Develop, recommend and implement policies, procedures, and short-term/long-term departmental strategies and goals.
    • Assist with the development, maintenance, and forecasting of area budgets.
    • Responsible for appropriate overhead expenditures (vehicles, communications, tooling, etc.)
    • Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise multiple employees including Rental Branch Managers, or anyone else assigned as directed. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; setting expectations, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; promptly addressing issues and resolving problems; building a cohesive, safe and fun culture / environment within the Rental organization.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 5 years industry-related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
    • Proficient problem-solving, decision making, interpersonal, relationship building, communication, leadership and influencing skills.
    • Proficient budgeting, forecasting and budget management skills.
    • Intermediate computer skills for MS Office Suite software.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
