Power Systems Rental Sales Engineer jobs in Jonesboro, AR
Power Systems Rental Sales Engineer train EPS Rental Technicians and Sales on EPG layout/design, electrical distribution & HVAC systems. Perform Quality Control of all EPS Rental equipment prior to delivery or rental. Being a Power Systems Rental Sales Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Power Systems Rental Sales Engineer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Job Duties Design, model, and test prototypes for new product products Use computer-aided design (CAD) to design new product concepts and improvements. Conduct research and create design proposals for projects. Create concepts, performance, and production criteria. Identify and select materials needed for production. Create and modify drawings and specifications. Create parts lists and maintain ERP system data. Optimize production costs related to part design. Plan marketing initiatives for product Maintain accuracy of ERP system data. Implement design changes to reduce cost and improve quality. Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned Experience and Education Performs work under general supervision. Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possess solid working knowledge of civil and utility anchoring systems. May provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience Competencies/ Skills Good verbal and written communication skills Technical skills including Solid works and Autocad. Knowledge of production processes including welding, forming, and forging. Knowledge of materials and engineering mechanics. Ability to meet deadlines. Planning skills Leadership skills #TR
